Frequently asked questions
Is a refill guaranteed or automatic?
No. Every refill is a fresh Clinician re-review. Your Clinician checks your dose history, recent labs, and how you have been feeling before deciding — if continuation is not right this time, you get a clear next step instead.
What do labs cost?
Lab cost, if any, is confirmed with you before you commit to completing them. No lab step moves forward until you have heard the cost and agreed to it. Keeping labs current also protects your refill schedule: if labs are missed or overdue, your refill pauses until they are completed. We would rather pause briefly and check than continue a dose without current information about how it is working for you. If the cost does not work for you, tell your Clinician and ask about other timing or location options.
What if I am pregnant, or planning pregnancy?
Pregnancy is not managed on this plan. Thyroid needs often change during pregnancy and need closer lab monitoring and regular follow-up. Tell us promptly if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or think you might be, and we will route you to a video visit or in-person care. If you become pregnant while on this plan, do not stop your medication on your own. Contact the clinic promptly so a Clinician can arrange closer monitoring and coordinate your next visit without a gap in treatment.
What changes should I report between refills?
Report a racing heartbeat, chest discomfort, marked tremor, unusual heat or cold intolerance, major weight change, neck swelling, or feeling markedly unwell. Also tell us if you start or stop another medicine or supplement, miss doses often, or change when you take your medication. Even routine changes can shift your labs, and your Clinician would rather hear about them early than interpret confusing results later. Some changes need urgent care the same day. For chest pain, trouble breathing, fainting, or confusion, call 911 right away instead of waiting for a review.
