Cost, plans and insurance

When am I charged?

You pay for the review — medication only if prescribed — charged once the review is complete, whether or not treatment is approved. Monthly plan renewal reminders arrive 7 and 3 days ahead, showing the amount due and your renewal date.

Is a monthly plan the same as insurance?

No. A plan is not insurance. It covers the online care and follow-up described on its plan page, and it does not replace health insurance. You can hold a plan and insurance at the same time — they cover different things.

Does insurance pay for the online visit fee?

No. The visit fee is cash-pay, and we do not bill insurance for it. You can request a superbill — an itemised receipt you submit to your insurer yourself — but reimbursement is not promised. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

Can insurance pay for my medication?

Yes, it can. Medication may be covered by your insurance at your own pharmacy, subject to your plan’s coverage. Your pharmacy checks coverage when the prescription arrives. That is one reason pickup suits a first fill.

Can I pause, skip, or cancel a plan?

Yes — anytime, in the same secure place you started, with no call required. Pausing for a trip, an off-season, or a break in routine is welcome, and you can restart when you are ready without starting over.

Prescriptions and care limits

Is a prescription guaranteed?

No. A prescription is never promised. Your Clinician decides after review, based on your health history, current medicines, and any photos, readings, or video assessment safe care needs. Needing more information first is part of safe review, not a refusal.

What happens if I am not eligible for online care?

You get the reason in plain language, plus the safest next step — a video visit, in-person care at our Denton clinic, urgent care, or care with your own Clinician. How decisions are made is explained on Texas Eligibility.

Does my plan pay for labs or in-person care?

No. Labs and in-person care are separate from your plan unless stated before you confirm. Our Denton clinic provides labs, exams, and blood-pressure checks that support your online care. When a lab is needed, its cost is confirmed with you before you commit.

Privacy and languages

How private is this care?

Notifications and billing descriptors use neutral wording, with no condition names. This public page collects no health information. Your intake, ID check, and messages stay in the secure system, where only your care team can open them. Health data is never sold.

Which languages does the care team speak?

Care in English, Nepali, and Hindi. Spanish available with an interpreter. Tell us when you start, and interpreter support is arranged for calls and video visits.
