Frequently asked questions
How long before my lashes look fuller?
Lash growth is gradual, and honest timing matters. Many people notice early change around weeks four to eight of nightly use. A fuller look usually builds through weeks twelve to sixteen. Full effect takes months, not days. Steady nightly use matters more than using extra, which does not speed growth. Results vary from person to person.
Can treatment change my iris or eyelid colour?
Yes. Prescription lash-growth treatment can slowly increase brown pigment in the coloured part of the eye, especially in hazel or green-brown eyes, and that iris change may be permanent. It can also darken eyelid skin, which may fade after stopping. Hair can grow on skin the solution repeatedly touches, so careful application matters. Redness, itching, dryness, and dark circles can also occur during treatment. Tell your Clinician if your iris or eyelid colour has ever changed before. That history shapes whether treatment is a sensible choice for your eyes at all.
What eye-safety questions will I be asked?
The screen asks about glaucoma and raised eye pressure. It also asks about eye inflammation, uveitis, and macular conditions. You will list past eye surgery, laser procedures, and eye injuries. Current prescription eye drops and other medicines matter too. So do contact lens use, allergies, and current symptoms. Pregnancy, planning pregnancy, and breastfeeding are also asked. Answer fully in the secure form; each answer protects your vision. You will also be asked whether you have noticed discharge, swelling, or light sensitivity recently. Honest answers help your Clinician choose messaging, video, or in-person care.
What if my eyes turn red or painful, or I stop?
Stop using the treatment and seek care promptly. Eye pain, marked redness, light sensitivity, swelling, or any vision change needs prompt in-person eye care. Call 911 for an emergency. If you simply stop treatment, the effect reverses gradually. Lashes slowly return to how they looked before, over weeks to months. You can message the care team to talk through stopping or restarting later on. Do not restart after eye pain or a vision change without Clinician advice first. Your eyes matter more than keeping a lash routine going on schedule.
